PEOPLE ARE TALKING . . .

I had the pleasure of working with Marty Vale as an actor, when I Executive Produced the Colonnades Theatre Lab off-Broadway.  I’ve followed Marty’s transition as an amazingly versatile voice-over actor over the years. When producing an Equity production of an original play on LAFAYETTE written by BBC Drama’s Ian Curteis, there was a need to convert several small historic roles into voice-over. I immediately thought of Marty and with only a few days to prepare, rehearse and record, he inhabited the voices of George Washington, members of the Continental Congress and others.  The playwright and the audience at the Florence Gould Theatre of the Alliance Francaise in New York were convinced that the voices were those of different actors.  Marty’s voice-overs moved from the stage to a traveling video of the one-act production when it was played at various stops of the “Hermione”, a sailing replica of Lafayette’s 18th c. frigate, along its original Revolutionary War route. I would not hesitate to recommend Marty to any producer/director seeking  seasoned experience, great versatility 

and quick response.
